Master-quality® Himalayan Bronze and Burmese Nipple Gongs
We personally select each gong for superior harmonic sound balance, shimmering overtones and deep "Ooommming" bass notes. Himalayan gongs have a lip construction and are heavier than Chinese gongs, resulting in great volume and long sustain. Most gongs in Bodhisattva's collection are etched with sacred Buddhist designs.
Burmese gongs are smaller than Himalayan gongs. They have a protruding boss in the middle (where the gong is struck), oxidized to a charcoal black color and a lotus flower design is etched around the gong's boss. When struck it has a pleasant single tone with a short sustain.
